Can you tell us a little bit about your work and how you got into it?

Yeah, so I like to call myself kind of a marine and estuarine eco-physiologist, especially with animals.

Yeah, I have to niche it down quite a bit because, like, calling myself a marine biologist

probably puts images in people's minds about like dolphins and whales and stuff.

And I don't study anything closely related to dolphins and whales.

I'm on the other side of the genetic tree closer to the invertebrate side.
