I'm always impressed that we throw around these terms, they become familiar to us.

Everybody who's a Christian has heard the term faith.

But living, active, everyday, life-shaping faith, I don't think people understand.

Yeah, they might be able to understand the word, but not live out.

So I want to go back to verse 6.

We're spending our time in Hebrews 11, which is the Bible's most extensive conversation about faith.

Right.

And let me read verse 6 again,

because I think it's the core definition of biblical faith in this passage.

And without faith, it is impossible to please Him, God.
