The now indicted Democratic governor of Illinois,

trying to sell the now vacant senatorial seat of Barack Obama for the highest price to the highest bidder.

What was he thinking?

The brazenness of it all is stunning.

Now, don't be too hard on this man because you think, well, he's a Democrat, for those

of you who would think that, because his Republican predecessor is watching the proceedings

from prison,

having himself been indicted and convicted for political corruption.
