So, I'm going to start off the podcast like we have since we started our Patreon by acknowledging some of our patrons.

And the one who's up today is a Mr. Nicholas.

And when you become a junior counselor or counselor, one of the perks is that you get your own

made-up backstory as to how you came to camp to be a counselor.

So that's what we're going to do right now.

So Nick is a counselor.

And Nick and I went to high school together literally.

Oh, really?

That is an actual fact.

That's amazing.

So it's truly wild.

A local boy.

Anyway, so Nick and I went to high school together, literally, until he decided to explore

Mayan ruins in nearby Mexico. And no one heard for him for a year so we all figured he had embraced his jungle life or he had died by giant snake or something

imagine our surprise when during a sing-alonging camp he emerged from the woods hair to his, tanned and leathery and covered in little scratches

and leaves.

He didn't offer an explanation, so we didn't ask, and now he's a counselor.
