Since I began my channel three years ago, the most requested topic I have gotten,

without a doubt, are Skinwalkers. There seems to be a fascination among the masses with

the modern-day boogeyman. Now, I have done an in-depth look into the lore and backstory of the Navajo Skimwalker

legend.

these dark witches are said to roam wild, alongside other supernatural beasts of all

This is the strange and true story behind the Skimwalker Ranch.

Before I get into the meat and potatoes of the spine-dingling mystery,

let's get acquainted with the basics of the ranch and a brief overview of the Navajo culture and the role Skimwalkers play.

Skimwalker Ranch, aka Sherman Ranch, is situated on roughly 4808 acres of land.

Safe to say, plenty of room for spooky stuff to happen.

The ranch is located southeast of Ballard, Utah.

Ballard is fairly well known for stories of UFOs and other paranormal anomalies.

The name Skimwalker Ranch comes from the dark, malevolent witches of Navajo lore.
