Hey, hello and welcome is Chris and you are listening to Tips on Top for the Long the longest running photography podcast on the planet. I think it's like 17 or 18 years now, which is kind of crazy.

So what have I been up to lately? I've been doing recordings for various podcasts, including

happy shooting and the future of photography, which yeah yeah tends to be a bit more regular than

tips from the top floor uh we've just we've just talked about your digital photography legacy

i really like that episode and um what else i've had done i went to visit my parents for a long

weekend which is always a bit of an endeavor. Seven hours of driving one way.

So that has like two days to a visit.

Oh, oh, and I've been working on a maker project

for the upcoming Abbey Workshop,

which it's still the favorite,

most important event for me in the year.

We've been doing this since 2009 annually.

And this year will be 33 people doing plus,

plus Boris, myself and Monica,

so 36 people in total doing nothing.

But photography stuff for a whole week in May.

And one part that we established a few years ago is to make something photography adjacent

with our own hands, a maker project.

Because, I mean, this is where you want to be anyway, being able to learn a craft and something.
