1st Corinthians chapter 3 verses 12 and 13.

Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw,

each one's work will become manifest, for the day will disclose it because it will be revealed by fire, and the

fire will test what sort of work each one has done.

These are pretty sobering verses. So we know been counted right

So we know let's be clear from the start that through faith in Christ

We have been counted righteous before God and we do not need to fear his judgment anymore. We know where we will be for eternity through faith in Christ. We have already seen in 1st

Corinthians chapter 1 that we will be guiltless in the day of our Lord

Jesus Christ because of His grace in the gospel. So we know that when we read 1st

Corinthians 3 12 and 13 and we're talking about the day that will disclose it

talking about the day of judgment and fire we know the whole picture here is not dealing with

salvation but that doesn't mean this isn't extremely important each one's

work will become manifest.
