Hello and welcome to Best Case Worst Case. This is Worst Case scenario. I am your host,

0:41.8

Francie Hakes, former state and federal prosecutor, and I am joined by Jim Clemente,

0:46.2

retired FBI profiler, former New York City prosecutor, writer-producer of CVS, criminal

minds. So Jim, let's jump right back in where we left off on our last episode talking about

0:56.3

the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to be a Justice of the United States Supreme Court.

1:00.2

And the hearing that we all witnessed and 20 million people watched across the United States.

1:05.1

That's right. Let's go. Everyone knows that Brett Kavanaugh denied the incident. He denied

1:10.6

having ever touched her in that way. He said he didn't know if he'd ever met her,

1:49.2

they thought that Rachel Mitchell this season, the sex crimes prosecutor did a good job and had

1:53.6

a good job, a bad job or a terrible job. I think for me, one of the ways I think that she fell down

2:02.4

on what I thought her job was was that she told Dr. Ford almost from the very beginning of her

2:09.6

testimony that she was not going to ask her any questions about the incident itself. And that to

2:16.7

me was shocking because the whole reason for the hearing was the allegation that Dr. Ford was

2:22.4

making against Judge Kavanaugh. She claimed that she was sexually assaulted by Judge Kavanaugh.

2:27.1

She gave some detail and then gave reasons why she didn't remember other detail. And so to me,
