Most of the time I'm quite careful to make sure that the viewer knows that it's a man.

As feminine as I make it, as perfectly quaffed and gowned and bejeweled,

I still want them to know that that's a man in there.

Hey everybody, it's October in Portland.

It's still sunny, still warm. I'm amazed, but I know the rains are coming.

The monsoon is coming soon. Yeah, anyway.

I had a very interesting week. Duncan Trussell invited me to join him in San Francisco

and in Portland for live podcast recordings. He's on tour doing live podcast recordings.

I flew down to San Francisco, spent a couple of days in the East Bay with some friends there

and did the show with Duncan and then flew up here and did another show in Portland.

I'll tell you, it's amazing. I don't understand it.

As I've said before, I don't really get this whole podcast thing.

I mean, here I am in the middle of it and I'm enjoying it and I'm glad you are.

I'm glad we're all here, but I still don't really understand how we all ended up here.

Maybe I'm just too old. I don't know. Maybe it's a generational thing.

But it's fantastic.

What's even, it takes that weirdness to another level is the idea that people come out and spend money

to hang out in a room basically listening to me and Duncan have a conversation,

which is wonderful, but again, kind of weird.

I was thinking like my relationship with Duncan is surreal as well because I've known the guy for years now probably

and I consider him a close friend.
