and for the last week he's been in Colombia

covering the deadly clashes there.

Last weekend a man was beaten and tasered by the police and he later died in police custody.

That's it off everybody when the footage of that happening went

viral he was unarmed he was pleading for his life within 24 hours the police

came out and were firing live rounds on people up to 13 people are being

killed and Josh was going to explain to us why this is

happening now and why it's lit such a powder keg there in Colombia. If you like

Explain to us why these clashes broke out so ferociously across Colombia in this last week?

Well, the immediate spark was there was a 42 year old guy who was studying to be a lawyer.

I think he had an electrical engineering degree as well named Javier Adonias.

And he was on the street after lockdown, so some police approached him saying that they were going to give him a fine for violating the lockdown social distancing measures.

And in the beginning he was kind of like yelling at them. He was like, this is ridiculous.

Like what the fuck are you talking about?

But it escalated quickly and they ended up beating him.
