The school I work at is called Cedars School of Excellence and it's based in Greenock which is a town just to the west of Glasgow in Scotland.

And it's a very forward-thinking school. I mean they were one of the very first to deploy

Macs and then iPads to all their students, correct?

Mm-hmm. Yeah the school is a fairly new school.

It was started in 1999, and back then,

to give you a bit of ancient history on Max I set up the first school network there.

So in 99 most schools were just pushing about a standalone PC on a trolley and at that time we had a blue and white G3 Mac

server if you remember those which we paid four and a half thousand pounds for it.
