long thank you for coming in and joining the show. It's absolutely a pleasure, David, yeah.

Yeah, I've always felt my mind, I need somebody here who can talk about education and you are

the man for education.

So you tell me.

Yeah, you're speaking in Chicago I saw later this year.

And, well, you know, just for people who don't know who you are, why don't we just take a moment talk about it you you have a

blog at Frazier Spears it's called that's actually at spears.org SPE IRS but more importantly

you are running the program what do the name of your school again?

The school I work at is called Cedars School of Excellence and it's based in Greenock which is a town just to the west of Glasgow in Scotland.

And it's a very forward-thinking school. I mean they were one of the very first to deploy

Macs and then iPads to all their students, correct?

Mm-hmm. Yeah the school is a fairly new school.

It was started in 1999, and back then,

to give you a bit of ancient history on Max I set up the first school network there.

So in 99 most schools were just pushing about a standalone PC on a trolley and at that time we had a blue and white G3 Mac

server if you remember those which we paid four and a half thousand pounds for it.

Ouch.

Yeah.

And four of the colored IMAX.

So we had, I think what was one of the first common desktop logging systems around this area and that was running MacoS10 server 1.0.
