0:48.4 | And what that means is I'm gonna read a passage of scripture. |

0:56.4 | You're just going to let it fall upon you. |

1:01.4 | See Jesus in the story. |
1:03.0 | Be an onlooker. |
1:06.0 | Observe the text. |
1:08.0 | Rest into the text. |
1:11.0 | And then after that time of reading, I'm going to suggest words that we will |
1:19.9 | repeat to ourselves a phrase over and over for the remaining time of the meditation. |
1:29.7 | Again this is not about striving or gripping or grasping for anything. |
1:38.0 | It's to fall back and receive God in his word and hold to his word, |
1:45.0 | to the invitation that he is extending to us through his word. |
1:50.0 | As we repeat the phrase over and over for the remaining time together. |
1:58.0 | So this will feel a little odd because you're not going to hear me talking and I think you need that. |
