I started to build around a character who was a little closer to the edge than I was,

you know, because I was at like, you know, whatever, you pull yourself back, you go home, you're

fine. But what if I wasn't able to do that? What if I was someone who was spiraling in that way?

And I did certainly think about things that had happened to me, you know, in the past that I had just

not processed because when you have little kids, it's very easy to compartmentalize things. And when

you're caretaking, you just aren't able to sit and think thoughts, you know?

And being away from them, I was like, oh, no, there's a lot of things that I have not been dealing with that are still there, you know.
