1:32.2	week this morning the ACA hosted a screening of a better life the film from Chris Johnson who's
1:39.2	sitting here with us and it's based on the book A Better Life with a hundred atheists talking about
1:44.4	joy meaning in the world without God there's I don't know what else is what else is going on that I
1:50.3	had to announce but we were going to talk about copyright as it relates to the show real quick
1:54.8	yeah we got to callers yeah there's a lot of confusion on YouTube about what you can clip from
2:01.7	the show and what you can't we just want to spend a couple of minutes apparently that's not
2:07.6	well understood at least in the YouTube community so this the atheist experiences a copyrighted
2:13.8	program just like any other creative work it's copyrighted copyrighted under US laws and
2:20.8	enforced by international treaties that means that you can't copy it without the permission of
2:25.9	the copyright holder which is the atheist community of Austin but we want we we realized that a lot
2:34.8	of fans came upon our show by seeing a clip that somebody posted to YouTube we don't want to
2:40.4	discourage that so we give blanket permission for you to post a clip up to 10 minutes long no more
2:48.4	than two clips per episode to your own channel as long as you don't monetize it try to profit from it
2:55.6	you you automatically have that permission which was always the case by the way I mean even so
