1 Corinthians chapter 2 verse 9.

But as it is written, what no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined,

what God has prepared for those who love him.

This is one awesome verse.

It's a quotation, allusion back to Isaiah chapter 64, verse 4.

But just let this soak in and think about the context.

So if you listen to the podcast episode from right before

this, we walk through verses 7 and 8 in 1 Corinthians chapter 2, where we saw the difference

between man's wisdom and God's wisdom. And the fact that we are so prone to look at this

world the way the world thinks and according to the world's

preferences and the world's desires and there's another way to look at our lives and that's through

the lens of how God thinks and through the ways of God and the desires of God so we want to look

at the world through the lens of God and the desires of God. So we want to look at the world through the lens of God's wisdom

because, and that's where verse 9 says,

it's written what no eye has seen, nor ear, heard,

nor the heart of man imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.

In other words, like when you are deciding between living according to the wisdom of this world

and living according to the wisdom of God, just know, the wisdom of God is higher, greater, more wonderful than anything your eye has seen

or your ear has heard or your heart has even imagined. What God has prepared for those who love

him. Like, doesn't that just make you want to live according

the wisdom of God? Like, meditate on the word of God. Like, focus all your attention on God,
