Welcome back to the podcast. My name is Joseph Clough and this is episode 800, no, 900 and 21. Now into today's

can give you some pointers and also how it's personally affected me in the last week. So in the last

week I had a really bad back issue where I could hardly walk and incredibly painful, bent

over walking and it was really, really a hard experience and it made me have to pay attention

to a lot of things in my life because what we do in one hour of our life we tend to do in everything

so our mind and body can reflect and mirror the type of things that we're going from.

And your body is continually eavesdropping on your inner experience.

You see, you don't see the world objectively, you see it subjectively based on the beliefs you have,

the values you have, the memories, the past experiences

and how you associate to them, how you communicate. And that creates this internal representation

of what you think is true. But the other level is, it operates with your physiology too.

So it is like this back and forth sequence.

Whatever you perceive, you are projecting, but also your body is receiving it. And that's why we say, look, breaking, sorry, stress breaks a chain of good health.

So as I was going through all this pain, I had an epiphany.

And sometimes painful things lead us to a change. So a different example was when I used to be

really anxious and dreading on the inside, I used to blush a lot growing up. It got to a point

but my symptoms made me take a stand and go on a whole different journey of trying to figure it out.

And that's why I'm doing what I'm doing today, which is like 22 years of doing hypnosis and

coaching and all those kind of things. It led me to this. My pain led me to an epiphany and a change.
