Today we're chatting with award-winning actor, director, and writer David F. M. Bond.

As an actor, David has worked on and off Broadway most recently appearing as Lord Farquad in the Broadway national tour of Shrek the musical.

I spent most of the week in the muck pit, sort of drowning in story and trying to break a project

into a pitch that is a story has beginning, middle, and an engine.

And I have decided to write a premise pilot for this show, so trying to figure out what that is and how it relates to the engine and what the show like the tone like I broke it apart so wide and so big and I just felt like really lost and I talked to you about it Meg I talked to you about it David like and everyone was so helpful and asked me stuff great questions but I was just mad at everybody. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't want it what it doesn't work right I just got so frustrated and

last night I watched a TV show and I was like oh that's what it is like you you have to have a goal in the pilot.

Like it was so simple, but it was like I get so, usually I get so caught up in the details, but I was like I couldn't, I don't know where I was like I was, like I was wide and then I got stuck in the details and I was all over the place and it's funny I'm doing a character workshop or you know I'm talking about character and character want and I did this on Wednesday and I wants and you relatable and you have to want
