Summary

This week on the podcast, I’m talking about what health looks like in a business environment. I want to explore how you can create boundaries in order to avoid burning out. I’m diving deeper into how to avoid abusing your body with insane caffeine intake or sleep deprivation and replacing it with healthy habits. At the end of the day, your health is going to play a key role in getting to the next level of your dreams and goals. — And, if you're looking for a gift for the person who loved Girl, Wash Your Face, Girl, Stop Apologizing is coming out March 12, 2019. I wanted to devote this week to a question that I get quite a lot and I totally understand

0:08.2

why I get it because it's something that I always want to know from the people that

0:13.2

I watch in business or who have kids that they're trying to take care of or obligations or

operate at the highest level physically? It doesn't matter what your businesses or maybe you're in

1:23.6

college and you're trying to finish exams or maybe you're a stay at home mom and you're trying

1:27.8

to keep up with two toddlers. You can plan all day, you can have the calendars and the schedules.

1:34.9

All of those things are great in terms of intention but if you don't have the health to support

1:43.0

the vision your chances of getting there are so much harder. That's something I've really

1:50.0

understood over the last five years is that the healthiest I am, the healthier I am, the more likely

1:57.5

I am to be able to perform at the level I'd like to. And I want to emphasize as I always do that to

2:04.6

me being in great health, being in exceptional health is not about the way you look, it's not about

2:11.7

the size of genes that you wear. Being in exceptional health is about how you feel. Do you have the

2:18.4

energy to keep up with the vision you have for your life? Does your body hurt? Are you achy?

2:25.2

Are you having trouble sleeping? Are you sleeping too much? These things all play into whether or not
