eloquent wisdom lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power.

What a powerful verse.

Like Paul just summarizing what Jesus sent him to do. And obviously, and we know this from 1st

Corinthians chapter 1 verse 1. Paul was unique and that he was an apostle of

God, but there's a sense in which this same thing here in 1st Corinthians 1 could be said of every follower of Jesus.

Christ has sent us to preach the gospel, to proclaim the good news of his love in Christ.

Not with words of eloquent wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power.

Like you think about it.

How often do you maybe not share the gospel because you think, oh, I might mess it up, I might not say things right,

or I just, I can't share it as good as other people like I think about this person or that person that

pastor like they know how to say this like they've got better words I'm just I'm just not like that
