I have a new podcast that I'm doing once a month where I sit down with two video game writers each month to talk in, talk to them about video game writing.

It was in part because I wanted to as soon as I started video game writing, which, you know, I'm in my second year now and I still feel like I don't know anything.

Or I also repeatedly I'm learning how different other studios operate.

So I was like, look, I know all these people. I think that is the single best thing about me having a YouTube channel is that I know a lot

of people and can get access to people and it's not just a person sitting in a computer yelling

about video games. It's people who work on video games yelling about video games.

So I was like, what if I just sit down with different writers every month? And I'm trying

really hard to get somebody who's worked on localization at Fromsoft.

Because I was like, that's a facet of writing.

I don't know anything about that I feel like they'll be cautious talking about.

But I was like, I know that it's really important.

And I know that the guy who's probably best known for working

on localization from soft games has written a lot of lines himself, and that's part of that job.

I just know so little about it.

It's a massive part of it.

Like the amount of adjustments and tweaking.

It's fascinating to be on the dev side of that into other languages, like the number of

conversations I've had to have with people about kind of like, you know,

a particularly English language joke that's in one of our games and then kind of working it

through and making suggestions of how to make that funny in French or whatever.

Totally.

It's really, it's fascinating.
