Hello everyone it's Susan Coffin here I'm with Attitude magazine and you are

listening to Attitudes ADHD experts one of the most difficult aspects of

attention deficit disorder is making sense of the many overlapping

conditions and the symptoms of those conditions.

We are really pleased to welcome back Dr. William Dodson, who's going to join us to discuss mood disorders and depression,

especially as these conditions would coexist with attention deficit disorder in both

adults and children.

Some of the topics Dr. Dodson will address today will include how to identify comorbid

mood disorders and depression, how to separate it out from ADHD and other symptoms, why there's

really no such thing as a minor depression.

Every depression is a major one and as always he won't be addressing specific

medical advice for an individual but he will be happy to give an overview of the kinds of medications

that are generally used in treating various aspects of depression and mood disorders.

Let me just remind you that he's a board certified adult psychiatrist.

He's specialized for almost 30 years in adult ADHD.

He's in private practice in Denver, Colorado,

where he is a Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.
