Yo and welcome into episode what 91 is that where we're at right now so 91 of the

house of L podcast I'm the L of the House of L podcast. I'm the L of the House of L podcast. I'm

Lauren's Holmes and I'm excited because this is a different type of episode that we're

going to do this week.

I joke all the time about how I own a media company

because it's a small media company,

but it's called House of El.

But I own this small media company and since I've been doing the podcast a lot of people have said,

hey, you know, I'm thinking about doing a podcast. What do you like about doing a podcast and could you help me get get started on doing a

podcast and I am all for that and maybe someday it turns into a consulting business

or something like that. But two of my friends reached out to me and said

that they wanted to think about doing a podcast and I said, well why don't you take House of El

for a spin? I'll have the content you'll have the

platform and then you can figure out if it's something that you like or not and they were like

okay that sounds cool so Gordon Widenmeyer and Steve Greenberg

were thinking about doing a pot and they're still trying to figure out like what it is and

what it sounds like but we we went to a room together and

they sat down and I produced the episode so I wanted to share the episode so they both

work at the Sun Times they've covered

sports for a really long time I think both of these guys are really smart when it

comes to talking about media in town but they also have some really incredible sports stories that you have to hear.
