I am so excited that you guys decided to join me today.

It is getting so nice here in New York and I don't know where you are, but finally it feels a little bit like spring has sprung. So what better time to talk about daughters of

narcissistic mothers? Okay I'm only kidding there's really no good time to

talk about that because it is such a painful topic and yet I did

a video about a month and a half ago about narcissism and I received so many emails from daughters of specifically daughters of

narcissistic mothers asking me to talk more about how do you actually heal

from it's not just surviving having a narcissistic mother.

It's a very specific kind of pain

with a narcissistic mother.

So what does it actually look like?

So before I get into it and before I get into how to survive and thrive,

I want to talk a little bit about the different kinds of narcissism

that there are when it comes to mothers. So there's really two

primary types, the engulfing narcissist and that's the narcissistic mother who

sees you as an extension of themselves.

So any achievement you attain will automatically become their achievement by default. So if you don't have a narcissistic mother, you can understand how incredibly painful that is.
