Yeah to probably come back later I assume I did not I thought I thought for some reason I'd got into my head that Rick I knew that he was going to exit the show I mean that was the big rumor going to the season and I was plugged in enough of the Walking Dead to know about that and I really thought that he would go out and the

finale you know the mid-season finale, right? Yeah. If not the season finale. So I was genuinely

shocked when I thought they were going to pull some miraculous escape and then he died in some kind of mundane way or from it

I don't even really know what was going to happen

Did you kind of have the similar kind of like dawning realization the holy shit they're going to kill Rick Grimes here

because they're pulling out all the stops with guest stars and whatnot yeah and this this is

maybe the most walking dead way it could have gone is to pull the punch at the end.

Like, you know, pull out all those stops and say something big is coming and then not actually

do it. And it's not quite a glen dumpster fire because they they're like that if it was the same as a glen dumpster fire that he would have gotten blown off the bridge and then we wouldn't see him for another season and a half.

Yeah. And then he comes back and you know he's chilling with Jadis and Trash Heap 2.0.
