I did not, I thought thought for some reason I got into my head that Rick I knew that he was going to exit the show I mean that was the big rumor going to season and I was plugged in enough to the Walking Dead to know about that and I really

thought that he would go out and the final, you know, the mid-season finale, right?

Yeah. If not the season finale so I was

genuinely shocked when uh I thought they were going to pull some miraculous

escape and then he died in some kind of mundane way or from it

I don't even really know what was going to happen.

Did you kind of have the similar kind of like dawning realization?

The holy shit they're going to kill Rick Grimes here.

Because they're pulling out all the stops with guest stars and whatnot.

Yeah, and this is maybe the most walking dead way it could have gone, is to pull the punch at the end.
