I'm your host, James Early, as always.

And this time we're going to be doing something a little bit different.

I'm going to be interviewing another author, and he'll be telling us about his book and a lot of his life history. This is an interesting kind of interview. I've

never done one like this before. My guest today is Bruce J. Wasser, and he is a father and grandfather. He's

retired living with his wife, Fern Schumer Chapman,

in northern Illinois. Bruce is a lifelong educator. There he was until he retired. And the reason

I've got him on the show is because during the Vietnam War era, he was at university. He was studying

at Princeton University, and he had to deal with the possibility of being drafted.
