Today we're talking about Bella Lagosi, Dracula himself.

Will, you're a big Bella fan.

I love him.

Where did it start?

I actually can't remember where it started.

But, you know, I mean, I remember watching Dracula on TV as a kid with my parents. I got into Ed Wood as a child. And I think it really was more through Ed Wood that I got to Bella Lagosie. And then from there, watched a lot of his Poverty Row movies, watched a lot of his universal movies, and more than anything,

it was the strange, otherworldly presence that he had and the tragic story of his life that

compelled me. Did he make an impact on you at all as Dracula? Dracula was one of his

less beloved movies for me. You know, I loved, as I've said before, I loved the universal

horror movies growing up, but Dracula was a little too boring for me. You know, I loved, as I've said before, I loved the universal horror movies growing up,

I like to mourn Abbot and Costello meets Frankenstein.

The thing about Dracula is that, and this is pretty universally accepted,

is it's not that good a movie.
