Genesis chapter 3 that it kind of went a little long I'm gonna blame that on

JT's long-windedness no but but seriously we really enjoy talking about it

it is so rich we could have talked about it for hours.

Okay, so what I'm pointing to is that we're not given one verse

that tells us what happened. We're given a story that tells us what happens and in that story we see both the man and the woman's sin and so and I think what the thing that appeals to me about what Beel says

that you were talking about earlier.

And I don't know, I need to think about it more.

I'm not landed on this because literally when you said

it was the first time I've heard it.

But I've heard other people say things like,

well like the closer you get to the story,

I've had students say to me,

well, it feels like Eve was already entertaining

the idea of taking the fruit in the way

that she's sort of like hyper aware of the tree, you know,
