Hi everyone, welcome to this week's episode of Lesbian Supper Club.

0:05.6

I'm very happy today because the sun is shining again in London

0:09.4

and I have on a guest today who I've been wanting to get onto the podcast for a really long time

0:17.1

because I think this person is an incredible advocate and representation of the LGBT

0:24.0

community does so much incredible work for the community and is a beautiful voice for the

0:29.6

community and not only that someone who I feel a really strong uh safeness towards actually and thinks a really beautiful person because

0:42.9

char who I'm about to introduce actually was someone who was there for me probably more than

0:49.7

you actually even realized during one of the darkest times of my life and it's really funny that you

0:55.6

sometimes gravitate towards people who you know we we've met a few times in person but we're

1:02.2

probably more acquaintances than anything can I speak a lot about the beautiful friends that I have around

1:06.9

me but actually during this moment in my life you were someone who really gave me a lot

1:38.3

So I'm so happy that today you get to share that light that I experienced with a kind of wider audience. So,

1:46.6

cha, please introduce yourself. I can't introduce myself now. I feel like,

1:51.2

I feel like that warrants like a hug or something. Like, oh, knee squeeze. Just a little

1:58.7

high five. Oh, well, are you okay now?

2:18.2

Yeah, I'm good now. I'm good. I think days can always go from one to the other. And I think that's part of the human experience is that some days you wake up and you're like, I wake up with a spring in my step. And other days you wake up and you feel flat and you don't always have a reason for that. But I think if I think about back to the person that I was two years ago versus the person I am now,

2:24.3

I don't recognize her and for good reason, but I'm also so grateful for that period in my life

2:31.9

because actually despite it being hell at the time it has genuinely

2:37.6

shaped me into who I am now and I feel so much more connected and understanding of the person that I
