Summary
In a small rural community in Illinois, Julie Rae and her son Joel were sleeping in their home when Julie was awoken by a scream. She dashed out of bed to find an intruder wearing a ski mask. She tried to chase him down, assuming he was kidnapping Joel, but the man knocked her on the ground, beat her head while she was down, and walked off into the night. When police arrived on the scene, Julie learned that things were much worse than she originally believed, and she was their number one suspect.
