Okay, well, I got us recording now, so we'll just kind of jump into the conversation here.

And Hal, I appreciate you taking the time to join me tonight to do this.

I want to start with essentially picking your brain on, you know,

I started listening to your podcast.

When did you start your podcast?

Hal.

Was it around July or June?

Yeah, right around there.

Yeah, I think we just, we started off doing every other week,

so we didn't want to get too overwhelmed until we get our feet wet.

So I think we just posted episode eight, I think it would be.

So that would be four months worth okay so I know

I know a bit about who you who you and your guys are and how you hunt and we're

gonna get into that that'll be the meat and potatoes of this but what I don't know is

a little bit of your backstory so I'm curious as to when you when did you start

hunting was it a family thing or was it something that you took up on your own and what years did

you begin uh to start deer hunting well I was fortunate to have a father that would take me even when I was little.

I remember going with my father, and it was probably, you know, their fleeting memories

because, you know, I was five or six, seven years old, and he would still take me.

It might have been once a season.
