because everyone knows that you're a Renaissance man but of course this descriptor

has nothing to do with it never does it has to do with one of the most outlandish true crime stories

I think I've ever heard and recently has been the subject of a documentary that many of you may have seen called American

Nightmare and I didn't by the way the name I don't know was that apt like sounded

very spooky but it does not begin to capture the

twists and turns of a story that seems too fantastical to believe and indeed a lot of people along the way didn't believe it.

Yeah not a huge fan of the name either I mean I guess I understand what they were going

for there because there certainly were people going through a nightmare.

But I agree with you that it doesn't quite capture

the level of sheer craziness that happened

throughout the documentary and throughout the events that are

described in the documentary and if you guys haven't seen it it's well worth saying

you know I feel like there's a new true kind of documentary every other day and seams which is great

for those of us who like true crime but they're not all good you know they don't

all grab you this was one we actually you guys may recall we talked to Bob Mata a few weeks ago and he

mentioned it at the end he's like you need to go watch that and I was like okay I'll

check it up I think I watched it that night yeah did you watch that I see I took a

couple nights but well so it's it's a three-parter and as soon as we

started watching it I remember having read the book and heard the subjects speak in

one of the crime cons but I couldn't remember the facts because it's that outlandish.
