Each episode we dive into the minds of some of the worst criminals in history and today we're going to be talking about the case of Krista Pike. So Krista Pike, it turns out, is the youngest woman ever to be

sentenced to death in the US, which makes you think, what the hell has she done?

Like she must have done something pretty terrible.

And when I looked into the details, I was like, wow, this is unbelievable.

First of all, Krista had a terribly abusive, traumatic childhood.

Like it really is one of the worst I have seen in these cases.

But secondly, Krista also found herself following a very troubled path. She lost her way. She fell into a very messy teenage love triangle and in the end this resulted in a brutal and

sadistic murder. It was so cold and so sadistic that this is what led Krista to becoming the youngest woman ever

sentenced to death in the USA. A title that she still holds to this very day.

And then tragically in the middle of all of this

was a young girl named Colleen, who was completely innocent.

So that is what we are going to be talking about today.

And I do need to give a few warnings because we will be discussing

childhood abuse including sexual abuse so please be aware of this but with that being said let's

dive in.

Krista Pike was born on the 10th of March 1976 making her a Pisces and she grew up in Beckley West Virginia where she grew up with her mom Carissa and her dad Glen

Pike now like I've already said a million times, Krista's childhood is traumatic.

It is. It's terrible. It's extreme. First of all, her parents, both of them, were alcoholics.

And throughout the pregnancy

Krista's mom continued to drink alcohol and she drank a lot of alcohol I'm talking

a lot when she is pregnant and she drank that much alcohol it
