Now today I want to talk about the different ways that you can achieve fire, the different ways that you can achieve financial independence.

And the reason why I want to talk about this is I want everybody to understand how flexible you can be with this.

See, when I first learned about fire, years back,

I thought the only way to achieve financial independence

was to go about by spending less and getting extremely aggressive with your savings rate,

meaning you can't have any fun, you just got to commit to this goal for the next 10 years

and save as much money as you can and hoard cash and make sure you don't spend money on

lattes or avocado toast or go out to eat or any of these things that you just have to save as

much money as you possibly can to achieve financial independence.
