Happy post-Memorial Day, happy post-race day for everybody in Indianapolis. That had to be a whole bunch of fun. I am broadcasting from

Texas, and the reason I say that at the open of the show from Houston is because Texas is very

much in the national news. There's a big giant Senate race that is happening, or at least a primary

portion of said race, that is happening today. I had to early vote before I jumped

on to do this show just to make sure that I got the ballot all done. Ken Paxton and John Cornyn.

I'll talk about that a little bit more later. I know it's only so relevant in Indy.

And honestly, the biggest relevance is the fact that you saw it happen in Indiana where a bunch of Trump endorsed politicians won races and a bunch of not Trump endorsed politicians lost their seats.

The redistricting effort in Indianapolis in Indiana, excuse me, in Indiana failed.

I actually was filling in for Tony Katz and said I thought it was a good idea.

And I don't know what everybody that listens to WIBC thinks.

I know what some of the other hosts have said about it, that it's both good and bad.

But I think that when you fight fire with fire, that's a good thing.

And I think that a lot of the redistricting that happened other places, granted in Texas that helped conservatives, shows that both

teams, Democrats and Republicans are fighting that fight. And so I do think that very similar

to what you saw in Indiana, you will see something happen here in Texas because a certain politician has resisted

some of the biggest things that Trump has wanted to do.

That would be the incumbent politician and John Cornyn.

And the new guy, the Attorney General in Texas, Ken Paxson, says he's willing to do more of the stuff that Trump would like to see.

Specifically the Save Act is probably the biggest thing that people want to see get passed

and is not getting passed by the current people in the Senate for a variety of reasons.

All of them, I assume, terrible.
