The Instagram news cycle is seemingly never ending with a constant flood of new features,

algorithm updates, and app changes. And so today I'm going to share with you nine new

Instagram changes that are going to actually make a difference for you if you're trying to

grow your brand, your business, get more views or more followers on Instagram.

Number one, let's hop right in this with some not so great news, and that is that

Instagram has removed the share to Facebook option, and because of that, many users are reporting

significant drops in their views.

Essentially, this change was done a little bit in secret.

Instagram hasn't made a formal announcement, but most people are now reporting that their ability to automatically post their reels to Facebook has disappeared.

In addition to this change, not only is Instagram no longer allowing creators to automatically share their reels to Facebook,

but they are no longer combining the views across both platforms.

Essentially, for the last few months, many users have seen their total real views,

not just be reflecting on the number of views that they're getting on Instagram, but also the number of views that they're getting on Facebook.

Now, of course, you can still share your reels to Facebook.

You just can't do it automatically.

You can't do it in a way that it's connected to your Instagram, and Instagram will not show you

the number of views from both platforms. Essentially, you'll have to download or save your reel

prior to posting it on Instagram and then upload it separately to Facebook in order to get those

views on Facebook.

But again, this is a pretty big change that has affected a lot of creators,

and we haven't had any official announcement from meta in regards to this change.
