My guest today is one I knew I could dive deep with, and we did that almost right away. Jackie Hill Perry is a poet, an author,

and a teacher, often at the same time, as is the case with her new book holier than now.

I loved the book, but what I really loved was digging into this important topic of the

holiness of God with her. We talked about other things like getting early influence and what

that really means and requires

and how our wants drive us, not our needs.
