Conversations around trans folk is usually dominated by the changes to our bodies, the defense of our humanity to sister-gender society, and our deaths and oppression.

We rarely discuss our love lives and the intricate ways society forces us to manifest intimate relationships with men.

The people who pursue us, date us, and love us are often left out of the conversation entirely.

Sometimes that is by choice based on fear and stigma and sometimes it's just by apathy.

So today we're going to talk to a trans attracted man and share his experience in our complicated journey to becoming friends and lovers. Welcome to Marcia's plate.

The whole point of this show is to share the other side of the trans woman experience,

and this is like guys who love us or guys who date us or guys who experience us,

whatever level that may be.

So this is one experience and I kind of want to bring him in.

And this is actually one of my favorite guys in the world.

I really, really like him.

We've been knowing each other for shit.
