The White House is considering executive action to crack down on illegal immigration at the southern border.

The measure would block migrants from seeking asylum if they cross into the US illegally,

but it would mean using a legal maneuver that former President Donald Trump attempted back in 2018.

In the end a Federal Appeals Court blocked Trump from using the law so the White House

would likely be challenged in court if they went ahead with the action.

A similar provision which would allow Biden to close the border,

was at the center of an immigration deal that's now stalled in the house.

But the move highlights Biden's evolution on immigration and the border as it's increasingly become a political

liability for him. Biden has tried to flip the script on Republicans in recent

weeks after they scuttled a border policy compromise at the urging of

former President Trump. But even as Biden looks to

toughen up border policy, he's likely to face criticism from progressives in his

party. President Biden has described Russian leader Vladimir Putin as a crazy S.O-B.

That's according to local reporters traveling with Biden, who say he made the comments at a fundraiser

in San Francisco.

Kremlin spokesman Dimitri Pescov says Biden's comments were a shameful disgrace for the US.

Clearly, Mr Biden is demonstrating behavior in the style of a Hollywood cowboy to cater to domestic political interests.
