Former President Donald Trump is bracing for the final act of his first criminal trial this week.

Today, lawyers for both sides will make their closing arguments, which means they'll have one last stab at driving home their cases before jurors consider a verdict that could make history.

Trump's defense will be up first, and then prosecutors are expected to tie witness testimonies

to a paper trail of text messages, phone calls, and the records at the center of the case.

Trump isn't happy about the order of events, questioning why the prosecutors get to go last and calling it very unfair.

But CNN legal analyst Elliot Williams explains that there's nothing unusual here.

It's a common practice for the prosecution to go defense to follow them,

the prosecution to come back with a rebuttal.

Typically the prosecution will go less.

But it's another half truth by the former president

about the legal system that plants chum in the water for his

supporters and people get whipped up believing that the system is stacked against him.

Global condemnation is growing over an Israeli
