Authorities in Gaza say Israeli airstrikes have killed 12 people overnight in both the

south and north of the strip.

This comes as U.S. officials tells CNN there's a pause in the ceasefire for hostages talk while Israel steps up its military operation in Raffa. Israel's attacks on Raffa have expanded to ground operations and satellite images show

Palestinians have begun to flee the city in large numbers.

Meanwhile, CNN has gained exclusive evidence of alleged Palestinian prisoner abuse from multiple Israeli

whistleblowers including medics.

It's terrifying.

Some detainees are taken away and beaten really hard, so bones and teeth are broken.

They say hundreds of Palestinians from Gaza have been held in dire conditions at a detention

center in Israel's Naguev desert, with some being stripped of their clothing or held in diapers.

We were told they are not allowed to move and must sit upright.

They're not allowed to talk or peek under their blindfoles.

The Israeli military tells CNN it ensures proper conduct towards the detainees in custody

and that any allegations of misconduct by its soldiers is examined and dealt with accordingly.

CNN has requested permission from the Israeli military to access the facility.
