Police in Maine are still searching for a man they've described as armed and dangerous,

after mass shootings at two locations in Lewiston.

Multiple law enforcement sources tell CNN at least 16 people were killed.

The shootings happened at a restaurant and at a bowling alley last night, and a shelter-in-place order

has now been expanded this morning to the nearby town of Bowden, while schools have been closed

in Portland, Maine's largest city. Officials haven't released any details on the suspect,

but say they are looking for a person of interest.

Police are currently searching for Robert R. Card is considered armed and dangerous. If people see him, they should not

approach card or make contact with him in any way. Police say 40-year-old card is a certified firearms

instructor and a U. a US Army reservist and law enforcement officials

say he'd recently made threats to carry out a shooting at a National Guard facility in Maine

and also reported mental health issues, including hearing voices.

Israel's military says it carried out a targeted raid into Gaza using tanks overnight. A video published by the Israeli army shows tanks firing

artillery as well as armoured vehicles, including a bulldozer, moving on a road. The military

says the raid was a large operation, part of preparations for the next stages of combat and that the soldiers later left the area.
