Hello from CNN, I'm Joe Beck, with the five things you need to know for Wednesday, March 6th.

Former South Carolina Governor Nicky Haley is expected to announce that she's dropping out of the Republican presidential race.

Sources familiar with her plans say she'll make the announcement in Charleston later this morning.

That's where CNN's Kiliatwood is right now.

She's also not expected, according to sources familiar with her plans, to endorse former President Trump today.

What she is going to do is make the case that he should be courting the voters who have

supported her throughout the course of this campaign. Those are Republican

voters, those are independent voters, those are voters that she believes he will need if he is going to win a general

election. So this does not appear to mean that she will not endorse Trump at

all before the November election but what she's

going to do today is really make the case that he needs to reach out to those voters.

That comes after what really was a super Tuesday for President Joe Biden and former President Donald

Trump, they both dominated their party's primaries, setting up a fierce 2020 rematch in November,

but there were still some familiar warning signs for their campaigns.

And there were plenty of other primary results across the country that have now set the stage for

crucial elections in November.
