There have been quite a few developments with the Northeaster that is heading straight for us.

As you can see, the system is escalating on the east coast, and it's estimated that will reach its peak when it hits Long Island.

The storm is expected to cause coastal flooding combined with hurricane force winds.

We have special weather correspondent Rita de Mario on the ground and distant sunken harbor,

a town that is right on the coast, embracing for the storm to hit around 3 a.m. tonight.
