I'm Dan and I despise Hallmark Christmas movies and this is the Jack the Hallmark podcast

You win a different direction there. You know we're working with some sound effects. There's a thing that people say that we could do

which is just to perform one, put it in and then we don't have to do that every single time. But why? Why? I like to mix things up.

We're doing 37 of these suckers so I might as well figure out the best way for me personally that will get me excited. You've got to do you, boo-boo.

Thank you. You do. No one has said that to me today. You're a local goodness. Guys, how's it going? It's going so good.

So good. You know people have been asking how we're doing mentally, physically, how's our health. People are worried about me.

People are worried about us and can I say this? You've gained some weight. I have put on the Hallmark panel.

People that I work with have been asking me as the person who loves these movies and I think the best way to explain this is this.

This podcast, while I love doing what we're doing right now, this podcast has sucked the joy out of Christmas for me.

How dare you? You can't. I'm sorry. When I say that I love a certain movie, I mean it. I'm not lying.

But what I used to do and what I think a lot of people do when they watch these movies is they get home from a long day of work,

they turn on the TV and they can just kind of tune out. That's right. Yeah.

And instead for me, I get done with the day of work, put my kid down, go into my bedroom.

And instead of just being able to kind of dose off and watch and get in the Christmas spirit, I have to whip up my darn laptop.

And really zone in on these. Yeah, you get a lot in.

And so while there are still movies that I love and resonate with me, I hate it.

Do you think it's going to come back around for you?

I think once we get past things, getting like I just this next week is just daunting to me.

It's just daunting on every level. We've known it's been coming.

It's kind of been the Black Friday of a home art movie.

By the time this week is over, we will still be in November, but be well over halfway done with the home art movies.
