A large iceberg is cracked off its base. It's an asteristic. It's said to weigh a trillion

Antarctic as Larsen sea ice shelf after years of cracks spreading across the ice, but it's

remained stuck. But now it's on the move. According to Professor Mark Brandon of the open

university, whatever that is, who says the iceberg will not be stopped easily. Yeah, you're right.

You're not going to go out there in a 12 foot aluminum boat and put your hand on it. Right or a

hook, you know, one of those hooks. Brandon writes on his log that in July the weather conditions and

ocean currents conspired to swing the trillion tons of the giant iceberg A68 in an anti-clockwise

direction. Sentinel one S.A.R. satellite imagery from 29 August 2018 shows that to the north of the

iceberg, the wind is pushing the sea ice northwards faster than the iceberg is rotating.

My guess is that A68 A will continue rotating as it is now around that western point until

what is currently the northern edge collides with the Larsen sea ice front. So far, I'm not worried.

Anybody worried? What's going to happen when it hits it? Just nudge up against it and settle in.

I guess whatever it wants to do with these things together. It has a spectacular amount of

momentum and it's not going to be stopped. I should think we will see some interesting collisions

with the ice shelf in the next few months. Okay. A huge crack has been spreading across the Antarctic
