I'm Stuart Mandel, joined as always by Bruce Feldman, who was in, who was at the Michigan Purdue game this past weekend, and Bruce, I hope you didn't have to spend any time in the

God-forsaken visitors locker room.

I did not, fortunately fortunately i was around it

uh pregame for a while most of the michigan staff was out of it and jim harball went off about it

on monday morning he did i got to admit uh we talked a little bit about uh some of the challenges

there um the facilities wisewise, for the visitors.

In this case, how it came up initially was, as people know,

Wilton Spate got hurt early in the game and there was no X-ray facility there,

so they had to take them a few blocks away, which I was like,

oh, that seems unusual.

And then was told we had to basically Harbaugh put his team on the bus for pregame because it was, as somebody told me on the staff, it said it was over 90 degrees during the

game. I mean, it was steamy hot. But on top of that, in the inside, it felt like it was over 110.

So it was just one of the myriad of things that Michigan was not happy about with the

visiting facilities, which is a little ironic.

Maybe it's not ironic, but because Purdue has gone in the midst of this massive facilities

upgrade and, you know, have the biggest

football-only weight room I've ever seen and have a lot of nice stuff. But right now, it's, I don't know if it's in the spirit of gamesmanship or that's the last thing they're going to renovate. But he's right. It does look like it's from like about 100 years ago. I'm guessing, yeah, I don't think it's gamesmanship. their former AD Morgan Burke was known as one of the most, what's the word, like frugal?

I guess that might be putting a kind.
