Now, stop what you're doing and listen closely. It's time for the Jeff Cameron Show in five, four, three, two, one.

1:00.0

Thanks for watching TV. Good to be with you on a Balls, Mick Wednesday. Appreciate you joining us as well.

1:07.0

Tom's here, Trigger Matthews here, the gang's all here. And I would say that's a Cameron show on Twitter.

1:12.0

By the way, speaking of the gangs all here, not this segment, but rather next we will be joined by a CEO, Ingram Smith of the Battles End.

1:23.0

We look forward to talking to him as we continue to gauge this four state team. It's talent. What's possible moving forward both on the field this year.

1:31.0

And then really within that space, what's possible? It's changing all the time. I like to check in from time to time with him.

1:37.0

Get his thoughts on what the Battles End is doing and what four states doing and how it's worked out, but also what's happening around the country.

1:47.0

Not a great card this weekend, Tom, but next weekend is a park your ass Saturday. I don't know if you saw that. If you looked at the slate next weekend, it is a park your ass Saturday, which frankly, I rather enjoy. I know right now you and I enjoy when the team goes on the road because it's a chance to kind of exhale and watch some football and not have to worry about a million other things that we have to do when four state plays at home.

2:11.0

It's not a complaint. It's part of our job. It's fine, but it is nice to exhale and just sit back and go, you know what I got to do today. An hour with Tom at 11 to talk about the BC game and nothing. That's what I got to do. No, nothing. I'm going to sit around here and grill and eat, watch us win, watch other games, gamble. It's going to be a good day. The camera household. Now we don't know. We'll see what happens assuming that it goes off at noon. And yeah, you know, I think most of the responsibilities for everybody.

2:40.0

On staff is done by five or six of the absolute latest. If you've got extra stuff to write or compile. I don't. Next week for park your ass. It is the same thing. It's a noon kick. So that's part of the reason why we're kicking off at noon because the slate is loaded. And it was a fixed early on in the preseason that Ohio State Notre Dame is going to kick off at 730 because it's on Notre Dame television. So NBC just sets their schedule. And they wanted that big 10 night game. It should be interesting. But I think that's why we were phased early.

3:09.0

But that means again, all the more on a park your ass Saturday. We'll be joining the fray. Hopefully at 4 and 0. Just watching the rest of the mass is saying I wonder how that's all going to shake out for them because we are on the inside track.

3:22.0

I think it's funny right now that I'm already doing that. I'm watching a lot of other contenders, you know, I'm kind of trying to take in what is. I know Texas played great on the road against Alabama. I watched that game.

3:34.0

And I've gone back and watched segments of that game that I couldn't watch. Intently the first time and yours was awesome in that game. And so, you know, I'm looking at what they are on the problems. They would present so early in the season though.

3:45.0

And you got to constantly remind yourself of that. Even with us, you got to constantly remind yourself that teams. They change over the course of the years. Some for the better, some for the worse, but they always change.

3:55.0

I think Texas would have made this exact same quote unquote statement last year at home. If viewers never got hurt. I mean, worthy was getting open down the field last year. They just couldn't hit him.

4:05.0

The problem is Alabama would have been was equipped to do something about it offensively last year better than they are this year. They're quarterback at Alabama right now. It is not ready. That's correct. But they required even without yours.

4:16.0

Yeah, for them to come back and make a crazy rally. I just I think Texas was in position there to win by a touchdown or two scores last year.

4:25.0

But that didn't mean that Texas was some kind of world beat of the rest of the season and just meant that Alabama was more flawed than where you're used to Alabama being.

4:32.0

As it turns out, it definitely didn't mean Texas was equipped to go on and do much else.

4:38.0

It also is weird that Alabama played that way a year ago and was more flawed, but only lost two games.

4:46.0

This team looks this version of Alabama might lose more in two games. They got they get some issues here. Maybe it's because the SEC in general is just a little down.
