Today's episode is going to be a tribute to 9-11

That fateful, fortuitous day decades ago that none of us will

ever forget. We have been told over and over again to never forget 9-11, but honestly,

I don't think any of us ever could. I remember distinctly where I was when I learned that a plane had flown into

the Twin Towers and the towers were collapsing, and I thought the world was probably going to come

to an end. I was 18 years old, or I was living in Kalamazoo, Michigan. I was a freshman in college, and I was in the dorm,

and my sweetmate ran into my part of the dorm

and at 9.30 in the morning and said,

oh my gosh, you need to come see this.

You need to see what's on TV.

And I went into her dorm room,

sat on the floor in front of the TV,

and we just couldn't believe what we were seeing.

And in fact, it all kind of seemed a little bit theatrical and unreal and something that we had never experienced in our lives before.

Our parents lived through Kennedy's assassination, and I know from talking to them

that they remember exactly where they were at when that happened, and it was a moment that was

heard around the world. Same thing when Princess Diana died. I feel like a lot of people
