Nathaniel Lowe & Josh Bell combined for 7 RBIs in the victory and each had crucial hits in the decisive frame. Williams only lasted three innings in Game 1 and needed 54 pitches in order to get out of the top of the 1st, where Detroit scored six runs. (28:40) Andry Lara was the team's 27th player for the day and he responded with three shutout innings of work after getting called up from AA-Harrisburg.
